Taliban Defence Minister Orders Forces To Respect Amnesty


Kabul: Mullah Mohammad Yaqoob, the Taliban’s new defence minister, has ordered all forces to respect the overall amnesty that was introduced by the management following the takeover of Kabul.

Yaqoob stated in an audio message on Thursday night that nobody is allowed to take revenge towards anybody in Afghanistan following the amnesty announcement.

He added that any Taliban member, who has any private battle, ought to take the case to a courtroom and remedy the issue there, TOLOnews reported.
