Tokyo Olympics: Sports activities Ministry Decides Not To Ship Its Delegation





The Sports activities Ministry on Friday mentioned it has determined towards sending its delegation to Tokyo Olympics to accommodate “maximum” help workers, together with coaches and physios, for the athletes competing within the Summer Games. “An Olympic Mission Cell is being set up in the Embassy of India in Tokyo, as a single window node to provide logistic support to the Indian Contingent bound for Tokyo, so that all possible assistance is rendered seamlessly,” the ministry mentioned.

The Indian contingent for the Tokyo Olympics is predicted to be round 190, together with over 100 athletes.

Indian athletes from 12 sports activities, badminton, boxing, hockey, wrestling, crusing, athletics, archery, equestrian, fencing, rowing, capturing and desk tennis — have thus far certified for the Tokyo Olympics.
